Trained as a business and finance TV journalist, Abby’s job has taken her to many amazing parts of the world. First time setting foot in Kenya in 2019, Abby felt the magic of the land, culture, people, as along as authentic African art and fashion.

“My job as a TV producer of a pan African women talk show led me to dig deeper in socioeconomic and cultural issues causing gender inequality. And I’m dedicated to use our creativity and voice promoting women’s rights to access education, healthcare and financial resources.”

Abby Sun holds a Master Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in the United States.

“Being a mother makes me realize that society tends to view mothers through a lens of their appearance and how they dress. Mothers sacrifice a lot for the family and children. I want to break that norm because being a mother as part of your identity doesn’t change whom you are nor the appreciation to beauty and style.”

Cecilia Awuor Okoth holds a diploma in business management from Kenya Institute of Management.

Community Outreach Manager & Brand Ambassador. Criminologist specialized in critical and cultural criminology.

Giuliana undertook ethnographic research within the Nigerian and Kenyan context to understand culture nuances. She works in Nairobi and Kakuma Refugee Camp with survivors of gender-based violence, empowers them and avoid revictimization.

“Prevention is the key I believe that giving them a goal can change their life. This is why I believe in our project to show women it is possible to be strong and independent.”

Giuliana Intrurrisi holds a Master Degree in Criminology from Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

With years of experience in credit management at a financial institution, Kelvin founded an electronic company 4 years ago with a track records of successful business operations.

Besides accounting and management skills, kelvin is very passionate about Latin dance. He has actively been dancing for over 10 years and he’s also a Latin dance instructor at K.C Latin Dance.

Born in Kirinyaga County in Kenya, Kelvin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from ABE( Association of Business Executives) in UK.
